i love this drama!

haha. its currently airing in korean, only 3 episodes up til now. this is one of the only few korean dramas i like so far, including Full House and My Lovely Sam-Soon. to me, korean dramas are just not my cup of tea, its something to do with the sappy love story and slow-paced plot development etc.. haha.

but my my, i love this korean version of hana yori dango! the basic plot remains the same. fiesty/strong poor girl meets 4 rich and devastatingly good-looking kids. but further details and background info to each character is totally different. credits to the casting people and producers. all 4 main male actors are SO handsome! and i think this korean guy plays a very convincing character of "domyouji tsukasa" as in 道明寺. he bears a resemblance to Jerry Yan. the more i see the korean guy, the more he looks like Jerry Yan. which is not a bad thing, considering i find Jerry Yan very very handsome. haha. but he is great on his own lah. bcos the jap version is totally mis-cast. too short and scrawny and gu-niang. like, hello? how can he play the great domyouji? tsk tsk.

i have to say this again, the korean F4... very handsome!!!!! now i have to catch this series diligently every week. hehehe!!

singtel's MP3 Music Pack.

i received an sms yesterday, from SingTel service, saying my subscription for "MP3 Music Pack" will expire on 12/01/2009. i was like, what? i didnt subscribe to anything! then i remembered i had just re-contract my mobile line on 12/12/2008, so i went to find the re-contract agreement letter. the fine print at the bottom said "customers will enjoy 1st 30 days free subscription for MP3 Music Pack with the purchase of the music mobile phone. $5.35/mth applies thereafter. subscription will continue until customer unsubscribe form the service. dial *1626 to unsub"

what the f##k?? i went to seach on the internet for such a package, and i come across forums and discussions boards, seemed like ALOT of people are having this problem, and some even had difficulty to unsubscribe the service. some didnt know, until they realised they have been charged for 3mths.

anyway, i dialed *1626. an sms came in, saying i have to reply with services i wanted. i replied a "7" which is to unsub from content services. another sms came in, i had to reply "1" to unsub from Music Pack. then ANOTHER sms came in, it said "reply Y to confirm the unsubscription".. wah lau! and all these smses are to a 6 digit number. which probably means i will be charged extra cents for replying these smses. WAT THE F$$KIN HELL?? now i have to pay to unsubscribe from a service i did not even want to have? whats their problem?

i am very angry with the way SingTel do things. i know the fault is probably with the 3rd party services and contents. but SingTel actually allowed this kind of FORCED subscription? so not cool. i should not have re-contracted with them.

batman action figure

i bought this batman figurine today at the toys section in a dept store. it stands at abt 35cm. WOO HOO! i've said it many times before, that batman is my favourite hero of all time. i used to watch the batman animations on tv when i was a kid. i can still remember the theme song, which kept the suspense well, making batman mysterious and very much in the dark. haha.

anyway, i was clearing my drawers in my room, when i realised i've got 3 frikkin drawers full of my brother's toys. power rangers, ninja turtles, biker mice, captain planet, megazords, last action hero, jurassic park... WAH! to think i've wasted my drawers space all these years. and i dont find any of MY toys! my barbie dolls, polly pocket, ghost busters, dont have!!!! very sad.

i was planning to be in europe right abt now. i was looking forward to spend this winter in holland and its neighbouring countries. but i'm stuck in singapore for now. sigh. i think maybe next year liao. sigh.

anyway, i got hooked to this song by Joey Yung. "跑步机上". the song damn nice! i've been putting the song on repeat mode on ipod when i sleep. and repeat mode on my mobile phone when i'm travellin on public transport. i'm beginning to like Joey Yung, admire her style and everything. she's not the super model kind of pretty woman, but she's attractive in her way. at least i'm attracted to her. hahaha. i must learn from her!

the 5L tin of paint cost me 65 dollars! freakin expensive. i didnt know paint is like so ex. but i love the color! so glad i chose this color. haha. i found out it will cost $1100 to hire ppl to paint for you. freakin expensive! i decided to do it myself. bloody tiring! but filled with sense of achievement. haha

LOL. one thing i'm disappointed, kate beckinsale is not in this movie!! the producers said the 3rd installment is a prequel, so the character "selene" will not be involved. which means neither will "michael" scott speedman appear. sad!!

need for speed undercover

i LOVE THIS GAME!

i've always been a fan of "need for speed" series. i remember i first played it on my pc when i was... 14? haha!!! i also play it with my brother on his PS2. graphics so nice! and the nissan 350 and porsche 911 and the lambor, wah lau! lol

graphics on DS is not that fantastic lah, but i'm not complaining. i completed the need for speed carbon: own the city, and it was great! the handling of the car and game play was pleasant. i hate it when the controls are difficult. anyway, Undercover has very friendly controls, the cars wont anyhow spin out of the lane or watever. i've unlocked my lambor liao. its green! lol. i know lambo are usually in orange or yellow, but orange is my nissan 350, and yellow is my pagani zonda. heh heh. machaim i own them in real life. lol. anyway, i feel good when i managed to upgrade the car parts. and see my lambo go faster and faster.. haha!!

the biggest attraction of this NFS series is MAGGIE Q. she is HOT!!!! omg. she's got to be in my top 5 female celebrities list. haha. the game story is simple, as the title suggests, you play as a rookie police, going undercover to catch the baddies in the illegal racing gangs... there's a stage where you play as a cop and catch the thugs on the escape. in earlier stages of the game, you use normal police car. as the game progresses, you get to use better engined cars like BMWs and Mercs... there's even a porsche police car!!! wahahaha!! not bad eh, i guess police cars also gotta be of some standard, if you're gonna catch those racing gangs in their what, lambos and paganis. LOL.

summary of this blog entry;

1) i love this game! Need for Speed Undercover is worth 5/5 stars.

they are the number 1 boyband in my heart. haha. they were actually the first boyband i really took notice and the only boyband i liked so much that i saved to buy every of their albums. they released 4 albums. i bought 3 cassette tapes lah. LOL. their 4th album is like a greatest hits, so i didnt buy. now i see my tapes, dont even have mould! kept in good condition. hehe.

obviously i know all members of the group, Lee, Bastiaan, Benjamin and Eloy de Jong. although Lee is british, they were considered a Dutch boyband. the other 3 are dutch. seriously, i cant be the only one who supported them back in the days. they were very popular! now when i look back at their music videos, omg can faint. haha. but hey, it was consider hip and cool last time hoh. haha.

my brother wanted to buy CDs at chinatown that day. i went along, the shop is very small, the CDs were not stacked in organised/alphabetised manner. then i heng heng managed to spot CAUGHT IN THE ACT's 4th album! CD! with all the greatest hits!!! so now not scared my tapes will turn mouldy!! haha... it was on clearance sale, so HAPPY!! my brother thought i was crazy. i pulled out the CD excitedly and showed him, he was like blanked face, and said "Siao!" hahahhaa... aiyah, i like them mah!

boybands of the '90s...

haha. i was bored and surfing on youtube, i found a Kavana music video! on the description, the user said the video took years to find. haha!! i couldnt agree more. a few months back, i tried to search for his latest news, pictures etc, not much info abt him! sheesh. but more recently, more pictures and stuff of him are available... hmm... i was thinking where he disappeared to all these years! i was mad abt him in secondary school. i even bought his "Instinct" album leh, CD somemore. its my first CD i bought. at that time, everyone listens to cassette tapes. haha!! and then at his peak and most famous point, he disappeared or retired from the music industry. and i read that he came back in 2007, doing shows and stage performances. he looks fatter and more rugged now, so man!!! haha.

and den i started to think of the boy bands that i quite like, in the 90s. lets not talk abt the mainstream super popular ones like Take That, N'sync, Backstreet Boys, Westlife, Boyzone etc. i wana mention some groups that released just 1 or 2 albums and then kenna disbanded and disappear. haha.

1. Human Nature

i wasn't exactly crazy about them, i just like their songs. i remember they sang Wishes, He Don't Love You, Cruel... so nice! i thought they disbanded long ago, i searched online and amazingly, they are still very active in Australia (their hometown) and still releasing albums there. wah. seldom see longevity in boybands, so impressed with them. haha..

2. Take 5

err. i cant find any of their pictures! i googled them, but cannot find! wah lau. they are not even on the Wiki page! haha. i didnt buy their CD, i hope im not making this up, since dont have any signs of their existence, haha. anyway, five members, 4 of them are very good looking. so its not a surprise i liked them. they sang "I Give"... and cant recall other songs right now. haha!

3. Code Red

they are not exactly super cute, i liked them for their songs, like What Good is a Heart, Can We Talk, This is Our Song... cant really find their mp3s now *sad*. i remember we had this newspaper reading session in Cedar, a few of us sang the song What Would You Do If, quietly at the back, then the chorus quite high pitch, i think it was wanrou who turned back and said "i thought got ghosts singing". it was so funny, because the highest note is the "would" word, and we sang like "WOOOd..." which sounded like ghosts in cartoons going "ooohhh...". we burst out laughing. almost kenna the discipline mistress's attention.

4. Five

wah... actually i dont remember any of their names. vaguely. im guessing there's a Rich, Scott? or some sort. i have their first CD. with all the nice songs like Until the Time is Through, When the Lights Go Out..

5. A1

i LOVE them! my most favourite boybands among the 5 i mention here. and i know all their names, Christian, Paul, Ben and Mark (from left to right). haha. and i have all their 3 albums! so sad they disbanded after the 3rd album. sigh.

i youtubed some of the music videos. OMG. so cheesy!!! like Take That also had very cheesy moves, playing with water etc, with no significant storylines whatsoever. cant believe its how boybands shoot their music videos tat time. the best part, we liked watching them! *faints*

trying to watch 珠光宝气 "Gem of Life"

ok/ the picture is a little small. haha. currently watching "The Four" diligently. "moonlight resonance" has ended its run in HK, but i've yet to watch it! sigh. anyway, the next big show to follow up on "moonlight" is the mega star studded "Gem of Life". i think its 82 frikking episodes!! sheesh. i've watched the 1st 2 episodes, its nice! but moses chan and bowie lam and bosco wong have yet to appear. only the 3 sisters were introduced. maggie, gigi lai and ada choi. wah, these 3 sisters on the surface seem very glamourous and rich, but they all have broken marriages (all the 3 men are not popular actors, more like care-le-fare, haha)... and gigi lai is the most pitiful so far. ada choi has major insecurity issues, while maggie is very misunderstood. 2 episodes only, and i'm like so kek-sim liao. LOL. and still got 80 episodes to go!! yikes.

Eagle Eye

i watched the movie last Thursday... the 9.50pm show, with my cousin and brother. my cousin came to visit singapore again. and he asked me the same question he did last year, "whats new in singapore?" i was like "errr.... singapore flyer?" LOL

anyway, the movie was quite nice! lots of action and the effects were realistic. some would find the storyline unbelievable and the plot being lame, but i thought otherwise. i thought it was kinda interesting. i don't wana give away too much spoilers, but i was peeved that the person, who gave the "go ahead" instruction, got away. haha. the basic plot is not original, it is similar to I, Robot and Enemy of the State, strangely both with Will Smith.. why didnt they cast will smith in Eagle Eye? haha. i give the movie 4 out of 5.

after the movie, it was abt 12 midnight liao. still got bus lah, but need to change, direct ones all left liao. LOL. while waiting for the bus, we suddenly have the idea of calling our 2nd uncle, who's driving taxi. heh heh! and all 4 of us went to eat the famous bak kut teh at Balestier there. at first, i didnt really know where its located, my cousin said his friend brought him there last year, he also cannot remember where, he only remember got a photo of Andy Lau outside. when we were along the road, lookin for the shop, driving slowly lah, den we saw a bak kut teh shop, but with a giant cardboard poster of Moses Lim. my uncle asked if its this shop. we were like, eh! moses lim and andy lau very big difference leh! LOL. anyway, we found the shop further down the road, and inside, there's full of celebrity photos. and i mean, u cant even see the wall tiles. its all covered with photos! haha. the food there is nice!! shiok!!

i like S.H.E's new album!

i went to the CD shop, in the early afternoon of 23rd Sept, the date that S.H.E's new album is released! yeah, i know i may be over-enthusiastic, but i wanted to make sure i got the gift that comes along with the CD. in taiwan, there is a gift for those who pre-order... but in singapore there's no pre-order, the gift would accompany with the 1st batch of CDs sold. errmm.. yah, i just wanted to make sure i got the 1st batch, so i chiong down to the records store. *rolls eyes* yeah, i know! LOL

anyway, i got there, and guess what? the stocks havent arrived yet! WAH LAU! nevermind, since i had to go to CPF board to settle something on behalf of my cousin and then i needed to go to the library to return books. kenna fined $1.80!!! damn it. they sure know how to make money out of fines and ERPs and whatnot.

by the time i returned to the CD shop, it was like 4pm, and the deliveryman just came, so i faster chiong to queue at the cashier. there were like 8 ppl in front of me, and abt 5 behind. they ALL buying S.H.E's album!! woah! hahaha... so happy finally got my hands on the album! YAY! i got home and told my brother abt it, and abt ALL the ppl queueing to buy the CD, he was like "wah, got ppl as siao as you?" cos he was saying i abit crazy to wana get SHE's album on day of release. HAHA..i like Hebe's pose here. she said she suffered back cramps trying to pose like this. LOL. oh yah! and i try to reach home by 9pm every day now, because i wanted to catch them on the online FM... yeah, they just set up a 网络电台, which starts monday-saturday at 9:11pm. they are so funny and hilarious! once, selina mentioned that its not good to dig nose, because just like ear wax, it will drop out naturally, there is no need to dig intensively. Hebe replied "我迫不及待想把它挖干净，等它掉出来还得了？" i tell you, i almost burst out the rice in my mouth. (i ate my packet cai-peng (菜饭) in front of my laptop in my room) because the way she said it was so matter-of-fact funny, and i had the exact same thoughts, because it really feels awful to have the nose full of stuff, you know... hahaha!! love her!

少年四大名捕 "The Four"

is finally showing!!! hahaha... i just wish i had more hours a day to catch my dramas. i've yet to watch Moonlight Resonance, Fated to Love, Your Class or Mine 尖字攻略，and ALOT others, wah lau!!! especially moonlight resonance, its the "sequel" to heart of greed, i remember i was talkin abt it being on air finally not long ago, den now, last episode liao, the series already ended! sheesh! and i still want to watch Charmed season 6, Smallville finale season, Prison Break season 4, CSI new season... WAH!!!!! i want more time time time!!!

i'm an angry consumer...

i ordered a 6-piece nuggets meal, UPSIZED, to be taken away. and when i got home, to my horror, this was what i saw:

it was like only 3/4 filled!!! i swear i did not drink a single drop before i took this picture, and it most certainly was not photoshopped. i almost wanted to run back downstairs and scream to the staff "is this your idea of an upsized drink??"

i felt so angry!!! and cheated. spoil my day.

Galileo...神探伽俐略

ok, the last japanese drama i watched was, Heaven's Coins... years ago! hahaha. i actually think jap dramas are alot more watchable than korean dramas, because they only have like 10 episodes or so for each series.. compared to those wah-lau-eh-super-draggy-long korean dramas. haha. but for some reason, i dont watch jap shows leh. hmmm...

anyway, i chanced upon this drama, i read its synopsis and found it rather interesting. mysterious cases, involving the supernatural.. i like! so i'm trying to watch, maybe 1st episode, then see how. hahaha...

不良笑花

ok, i am going to try to watch this in my free time. nowadays, whenever i have free time and not working, i play my NDS, watch my dvds... and some shows on youtube..

currently am catching HOTSHOT, but show is only one episode per week, so ok lah, doesnt take up much time. i think i have like so MANY dramas i haven't watch loh.

- Prison Break season 3 (season 4 now showing liao! yet ive not watched 3...)

- Fated to Love, alot say very nice, but i'm not so keen on it, so may give it a miss.

- Heroes season 2, wah lau, i dragged this for like so long, until now havent even caught a single episode. lol

- Ghost Whisperer season 3 i watched midway only, due to the strike, it was on a break halfway.

wat else... like got alot of taiwanese dramas leh, cant seem to recall for the time being. haha. got hot chicks and hunks one, must tell me!!!

S.H.E's new album coming soon...

i can't wait to get my hands on their new album! hahaha.. i think pre-order available on 11th sept... then official release is.. i forgot.. 23rd? hahhaa..

haha. the sauce is like OH MAN! delicious!! i can eat this for 3 meals a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year! ok, tats abit boring, so maybe not. LOL. but i really love this sliced beef with awesome sauce. i was devastated when the bishan J8 outlet moved. cos bishan's the nearest to my place. den now, i have to go either tampines or wisma loh. or sometimes yishun when i'm in the north area. hahaha. anyone knows other outlets pls inform me! heh heh
